About the Bay Hotel

The Bay Hotel was a small, gracious Victorian hotel in a superb, prominent position above Port Isaac, offering a relaxing, comfortable retreat with views over the spectacular cliffs of Port Isaac Bay. Its eight en-suite rooms were individually decorated, most with sea views, alongside an elegant music room and a cosy lounge.

After eight years of advertising B&B stays in Port Isaac with Cornwall Online, the owners asked us to retire this page on the closure of the hotel and the sale of the property.

Port Isaac

Port Isaac is a working fishing village of whitewashed cottages and narrow lanes around a small harbour, famous as Portwenn in Doc Martin. Lobster and crab boats still land their catch on the slipway, and the South West Coast Path leads east to Port Gaverne and west to Port Quin.
