About Antonia’s Pearls

Antonia’s Pearls is a small collection of holiday homes in Charlestown run by Antonia and David, each decorated to exquisitely high standards with style, comfort and attention to detail. When they advertised on Cornwall Online, the collection included:

  • Marine Villa – the original wing of a grand Georgian house on the quay, overlooking the historic port
  • The Cottage – a tiny Grade II listed house at the end of a Georgian terrace, 300 yards from the quay
  • Olivia’s Cottage – a little cottage on the ‘top deck’ overlooking the harbour and out to sea
  • The Cabin and The Studio – hideaways for two in the gardens of the Georgian house on the quay

Today their website, www.antoniaspearls.co.uk, lists Marine Villa, The Sea Cabin, The Sail Loft and The Pearl.

Charlestown

Built in the late 1700s, the port of Charlestown is largely unchanged and is part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site. Its Georgian harbour, often home to tall ships, is a favourite film location, and the beaches either side of the quay are an easy stroll.

Charlestown is about ten minutes from both the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, with the coast path leading on to Porthpean and Carlyon Bay.
