The entrance lobby leads to a dining area with a sideboard and table for four, a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washer-dryer, and a lounge with a two-seater settee and a three-seater sofa bed that opens into a comfortable double. The king-size bedroom is at the rear, and the wet room has a Mira Sport Max shower.

Mevagissey is one of Cornwall’s best-loved working fishing villages, with a double harbour, narrow streets of cafes, galleries and pubs, and boat trips and fishing trips from the quay – with a summer ferry across the bay to Fowey.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are only about a mile away, and the Eden Project, Charlestown and Fowey are all within easy reach. The South West Coast Path leads south to Portmellon, Gorran Haven and Dodman Point.
