About Abode

Abode, at No. 1 St Ives, advertised on Cornwall Online from March 2010 until March 2014. It was a shabby-chic, boutique-style bed and breakfast offering a relaxed and comfortable setting, with four bedrooms on the first floor – two of them with sea views – sleeping eight or nine guests.

Relax in Style in St Ives

St Ives has some of the best beaches in Britain, with restaurants right on the sand looking out over a startlingly blue sea. On a fine evening there are spectacular sunsets – and, if you are lucky, dolphins or seals offshore. Porthmeor is renowned for its surf, suitable for beginners and experienced surfers alike.

The cobbled lanes of Downalong lead from the harbour to Porthmeor Beach and Tate St Ives, lined with fishermen’s cottages, galleries and shops selling art, pottery, jewellery and local food.
