Bridge Bike Hire
Bikes for all ages and abilities, right on the Camel Trail in Wadebridge
The Camel Trail, Eddystone Road, Wadebridge, Cornwall, PL27 7AL | 01208 813050
Bridge Bike Hire has been hiring bikes on the Camel Trail from its Wadebridge forecourt since 1983, giving direct, traffic-free access straight onto the trail towards Padstow in one direction and Bodmin in the other. Over more than four decades it's built a reputation as one of the Trail's most established cycle hire operators, picking up Cornwall Tourism Award and Cornwall Sustainability Award recognition along the way for its work on accessibility and environmental initiatives.
The fleet covers bikes for genuinely all ages and abilities: standard adult and child bikes, e-bikes for an easier ride, tandems, recumbent Ice Trikes, child trailers and seats, trailer bikes (tag-alongs) for older children not quite ready to ride solo, dog trailers, and a specialist wheelchair bike - a real point of difference among Cornwall's cycle hire operators, and part of what's earned the business its accessibility awards.
Bridge Bike Hire is open all year round rather than just through the summer season, with discounted evening rides and winter rates on offer for locals and visitors alike, plus a loyalty scheme for regular customers. Bookings are taken with a 10% deposit, with the balance paid on collection.
