Antony Woodland Garden is one of the most beautiful, and least known about, gardens in Cornwall. Just a ferry ride away from Plymouth, it is a haven of serenity and peace, and the perfect place for a pleasant walk, a picnic, for children to explore and also for plantsmen (and women) to enjoy the magnificent variety of plants.

“A place where time has no bounds” - 100 acres of unspoiled woodland along the Lynher estuary
Situated adjacent to the National Trust property Antony House and its formal garden, the 100 acre Antony Woodland Garden & Woodland Walks provide a tranquil and relaxing corner of South East Cornwall. The Woodland Garden is separately owned and run, with its own admission charge that applies even to National Trust members.
Unspoiled woodland sweeps down to the Lynher estuary, where you will discover secluded coves and stunning views across the water. Modern sculptures from celebrated international artists are secreted away amongst the International Collection of Camellias, Magnolias, Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Hydrangeas, all of which in their season are a wonder to behold.
Opening Times & Ticket Prices
Garden (Camellia Heaven): 15 February - 31 October, 10.30am - 5pm (last entry 4pm). Closed Mondays and Fridays, except bank holidays.
Woodland Walk: open year-round (gates close 4pm in winter), same Monday/Friday closure outside bank holidays; out of season (1 November - 14 February) it's for season ticket holders only.

Parking
A free car park is located at the garden entrance on Ferry Lane, beneath trees. Gates are locked at 5pm.

The Woodland Kitchen serves refreshments during the main season - check the official website for current opening days.
Disabled Access & Dogs
Paths through the Woodland Walk are natural and can be uneven - contact the garden directly to check suitability before visiting. Dogs are welcome on the Woodland Walk but not in the formal Garden.
