Laser Tag in Cornwall

From a neon-lit indoor arena at Atlantic Reach to long-range outdoor battles across North Cornwall farmland - and a trio of options just over the border in Plymouth and Tavistock - here's where to gear up and go on the attack.

Back to Activities

Laser tag in Cornwall comes in two very different flavours. Cornwall Laser Tag at Atlantic Reach Resort near Newquay is a compact indoor arena - all smoke machines, UV lighting and hidden nooks - and sits alongside the resort's other attractions, making it an easy add-on to a day out or a wet-weather fallback. Out in North Cornwall, Big Dunk's Outdoor Laser Tag at Trevilley Farm near Delabole takes the opposite approach: long-range digital infrared guns used across open farmland, with no masks needed and none of the mess of paintball.

If you're staying in or travelling via Plymouth, you're well covered too. Tenpin Plymouth Barbican runs an indoor Sector 7 laser arena alongside its bowling and arcade games, while Plymouth Party Zone offers a dedicated laser arena built primarily around children's birthday parties. And a little further out, Wargame Company Tavistock - a long-established woodland site at Gulworthy - has run outdoor laser combat since 2005 and, as of late 2024, is now laser-only.

Good to know before you book

  • Book ahead: the outdoor sites in particular take advance bookings only - you can't just turn up and play.
  • Check age and height limits: these vary considerably by venue, from age 4+ at children's party venues up to stricter policies at outdoor sites - confirm with the operator before booking.
  • Indoor vs outdoor: indoor arenas run rain or shine, while outdoor sessions are played across woodland or farmland, so dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
  • Signal can be patchy: some rural sites have poor mobile reception, so check whether card payment is available or whether you'll need cash on the day.
  • Confirm accessibility: contact each venue directly about step-free access and mobility requirements, particularly at the outdoor woodland and farmland sites.
