East Crinnis Holiday Park – Log Cabins, Glamping & Camping near St Austell

A peaceful, family-run holiday park near St Austell Bay, just minutes from Crinnis Beach, Charlestown and the Eden Project.

East Crinnis is a camping and log cabin park ideally placed for exploring Charlestown harbour, the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey and Fowey – a great base for family holidays, coastal walks and touring Cornwall. Dogs are welcome across the whole site, with a pond area and a two-acre field with its own walking route.

Choose from three pine log cabins, two geodomes and a traditional yurt in the Summer Meadow, or spacious camping and caravan pitches, with a play park for children on site.

Log Cabins, Geodomes, Yurt & Pitches

Log cabins: three handcrafted pine cabins with an alpine feel, each with an open-plan living space, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a private sunny balcony and BBQ. Smart TV, Wi-Fi, bedding, towels and toiletries are included.

Glamping: the Trenarren Geodome (sleeps 4), Harlyn Geodome (sleeps 6) and Nare Yurt (sleeps 4) sit in the tranquil Summer Meadow, catching the afternoon and evening sun. The geodomes have large panoramic windows and log burners, and every unit has a fridge, air fryer and outdoor BBQ, with a restored granite stable block for showers, toilets and a shared kitchen.

Camping and caravans: generous pitches of at least 8m x 8m, with hardstanding, grass electric (16 amp) and non-electric options, water points, modern shower blocks and waste disposal. The main site is open from March to October and the Summer Meadow from April to September; contained campfires are allowed.

East Crinnis is between Par and St Austell (PL24 2SD), just inland from St Austell Bay and a few minutes from the beach at Carlyon Bay (Crinnis Beach). Charlestown is about two miles away and the Eden Project about three.

Carlyon Bay and Par Sands are long sandy beaches; Charlestown has small beaches either side of its Georgian harbour; and Polkerris, Porthpean and Duporth are quieter coves.
