Seascape is ideal for relaxing family holidays offering spacious accommodation and large enclosed gardens with play facilities nearby.

Seascape has stunning sea views and is only five minutes walk from the sea and the coastal footpath at Cadgwith. Locally there are many coastal and inland walks or quiet lanes to cycle. You can swim and snorkel in the cove or there are two lovely sandy beaches within one and a half miles at Kennack Sands.

Seascape offers a comfortable base for touring the Lizard Peninsula and for visiting many National Trust Gardens and houses. Excellent meals are served in the Old Cellars Restaurant or The Cadgwith Cove Inn.

Seascape is a very light welcoming cottage that faces south towards the sea and Cadgwith Cove. It has full oil fired central heating throughout included in the price.

Accommodation

On the ground floor there is a central spacious Hallway with stairs up to the first floor. A large comfortable Lounge with sea views and wood burning stove. Kitchen / Dining room with modern units, fan oven and ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dish washer and washing machine/dryer. There is also a microwave oven, toaster and kettle. Seating for eight is provided around the dining table, a high chair is available by arrangement. Family Bathroom with cast iron bath with shower mixer, basin and toilet.

There are two ground floor bedrooms, Bedroom one has a king sized bed and sea views, large built in wardrobe plus a wash hand basin with mirror and shaver point above. Bedroom two has twin three foot beds and views onto the garden. This room also has a built in wardrobe and hand basin, mirror and shaver point.

Upstairs on the first floor are two further bedrooms and a shower room. Bedroom three is fitted with a king sized bed and this room has panoramic sea views looking out over Cadgwith Cove. Bedroom four is fitted with twin three foot beds. This room looks out onto the garden. The shower room is fitted with an electric shower, basin and toilet plus the airing cupboard.

This house is suitable for the partially disabled and those not so good on their feet, due to it having the downstairs bathroom and bedrooms and level spacious access between all the ground floor rooms. We are happy to discuss your requirements to see if our house will suit your needs.

Outside is a generous garden with lovely sea views, laid mainly to lawns, with privat car parking.

Just the other side of the Cornish Hedge that surrounds the garden is the village recreation ground. This has a Football pitch, hard tennis/basketball court and various play items for younger children. These facilities are available for all to use.

Location

Cadgwith is an unspoilt traditional Cornish fishing village with a working fleet of boats. You can still watch the fishermen bring in the daily catch to sell to the local pubs, restaurants and the public. In the village there is a craft shop, a restaurant and an inn with regular live music.

From the cove you can follow the coastal footpath south past The Devils Frying pan and on towards the Lizard which is about a three mile walk. If however you decide to head north you pass the old serpentine works at Poltesco. After approximately a mile and a half walk you come to the superb sandy beaches of Kennack Sands.
