About Bassets Acre

Bassets Acre is a historic house with six high-quality holiday apartments sleeping between two and seven people, set in subtropical gardens with sea views and a barbecue. Guests share a unique air-dome covered heated swimming pool, a hot tub and a games room, and the beach, harbour, pubs, restaurants and shops are a short stroll away.

Portreath

Portreath is a small, friendly village in a valley on the north coast, surrounded by National Trust countryside. Portreath beach is sheltered, with tidal sea-water pools on either side that fill each time the tide comes in – ideal for exploring and swimming.

The coast-to-coast cycle path follows the old Mineral Tramways route from Portreath to Devoran, part of the Cornish mining World Heritage Site. Falmouth, Truro and St Ives are about 20 minutes away, and the Eden Project and Padstow around 40 minutes.
