Newquay – Cornwall’s Premier Resort

Newquay has seven miles of glorious sandy beaches and magnificent coastal walks. Besides some of the best surfing in the UK, there is kite-surfing, fishing, golf overlooking the Atlantic, horse riding and cycling. Newquay Zoo, Trenance Gardens and its boating lake, tennis courts and miniature railway are all a short walk from Carminow Way.

Nowhere in Cornwall is much more than 40 minutes’ drive: visit Lanhydrock, Heligan and the Eden Project, the wilds of Bodmin Moor, Tintagel Castle, St Michael’s Mount or Land’s End. Off-season short breaks are a lovely way to enjoy the quieter roads.
