Welcome to Breakers on Atlantic Terrace – a peaceful retreat from the busy world.
Breakers sits right beside the beach in New Polzeath, at the Pentire Point end of Atlantic Terrace. The house commands stunning sea views across the bay and the surrounding headlands.
Breakers is just five metres from the beach and rocks of Polzeath's famous family-friendly surfing beach, reached via the Atlantic steps. Polzeath's extensive beach suits every kind of surfing, and surf lessons are available on the beach.
Breakers is a private residence, offered to rent for part of the year.

Accommodation
The house is arranged over three floors.
Ground floor: entrance hall, lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and WC.
First floor: main bathroom and two double bedrooms.
Second floor: double bedroom with en-suite shower; twin bedroom (single beds) and twin bedroom (double beds) sharing a Jack-and-Jill en-suite shower room.
The patio is reached through the front garden or from the dining room via the sun lounge, and the outdoor table and benches seat ten.
There is free 24-hour public parking opposite the house on Atlantic Terrace.
New Polzeath and Polzeath
New Polzeath is a charming coastal retreat on the North Cornwall coast, where golden sand and Atlantic surf meet rugged cliffs. The gentle waves suit novice surfers and young children building sandcastles, while more experienced surfers can head along to Polzeath Beach.
Cafés and shops are a short stroll away, and the South West Coast Path winds along the cliffs with spectacular views – look out for seals and dolphins in the waves. Lifeguards patrol Polzeath beach in the main season, and surf schools and hire shops cater for everyone from beginners to experts. See our guide to Polzeath area beaches.
Port Isaac
A short drive away, the historic fishing village of Port Isaac is a tangle of narrow streets, whitewashed cottages and traditional pubs. Famous as the filming location for Doc Martin, it's a lovely place to wander, sample fresh seafood and watch the boats come in.
Padstow
For a livelier day out, Padstow is known as Cornwall's foodie capital, with acclaimed restaurants including Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant, plus independent shops and galleries. Children love the busy working harbour – and fish and chips on the quayside.
Rock and the Camel Estuary
Nearby Rock is a haven for water sports, with kayaks, paddleboards and sailing boats to hire on the Camel Estuary. Take the Black Tor Ferry across to Padstow, or relax on Rock beach and Daymer Bay.
The estuary's sand flats and salt marshes are perfect for picnics, crabbing and spotting wading birds, and the Camel Trail offers traffic-free cycling and walking between Padstow, Wadebridge and Bodmin.
Further afield
History lovers can visit Tintagel Castle, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, and the historic town of Bodmin. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within a day trip, and the North Cornwall coast is dotted with old tin mines and smugglers' coves.
