Six traditional stone cottages, converted from 1800s farm buildings, sleeping from 2 to 7 people – within walking distance of the historic Cornish county town of Bodmin.

Formerly a working dairy farm, Coldharbour Farm is in a tranquil, secluded setting within walking distance of Bodmin. Its six cottages have been imaginatively converted from farm buildings dating from the 1800s and are arranged around an atmospheric courtyard, where colourful flower borders contrast with the local stone and a raised fishpond adds the sound of running water.

There is a lawned garden with views over Bodmin town and the surrounding countryside, barbecues, a games room with table tennis, pool, darts and table football, an enclosed children’s play area and a laundry room. The cottages are reached by a 50-metre, tree-lined private drive.

Bodmin – In the Heart of Cornwall

Bodmin sits right in the middle of Cornwall, about 20 minutes from both the north and south coasts and with easy access to the A30. Bodmin Parkway station on the main London to Penzance line is a short drive away, and Cornwall Airport Newquay is around 30 minutes by car.

Within a few miles are the open tors of Bodmin Moor, the National Trust estate at Lanhydrock, cycling and walking on the Camel Trail and steam trains on the Bodmin & Wenford Railway. Further afield, Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Fowey and Polperro dot the coastline, with the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan an easy drive south.
