Padstow is surrounded by rugged cliffs, hidden coves and beautiful sandy beaches, such as Porthcothan, Constantine, Treyaron, Trevone, Harlyn, Daymer and Watergate bay. There is a ferry in the summer which takes visitors over to Rock on the other side of the estuary. There is plenty to keep visitors happy, whether it is walking along the coastal path, cycling the Camel trail, surfing, visiting National Trust houses and gardens or just wandering around the shops and watching the local fisherman attending to their daily chores.
