All Attractions Family Days & Theme Parks Gardens & Parks Heritage & Museums Castles & Country Houses
Cornwall has a strong line-up of attractions built with families in mind, from wildlife parks and adventure centres to steam railways and all-weather indoor venues for rainy days. Whether you're planning a full day out or looking to fill an afternoon, there's plenty to choose from across the county.
In the west, Paradise Park's wildlife sanctuary and JungleBarn indoor play centre and the Cornish Seal Sanctuary near Helston are reliable family favourites. The north has the biggest concentration of family attractions, including Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium, Lappa Valley Steam Railway and Camel Creek Adventure Park near Wadebridge, plus an owl sanctuary and cycle hire along the Camel Trail.
To the south, the Eden Project remains Cornwall's best-known family day out, with its covered Biomes a good option whatever the weather, alongside Kidzworld Cornwall's indoor play near St Austell.
