Gwithian Towans is a unique Sanddune system in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with stunning views towards St Ives and Godreavy lighthouse. Gwithian has three and a half miles of sandy beaches, so it is an beach holiday destination for family holidays. The beaches are popular surfing and kite surfing venues, with surf championships regularly held there.

Pay and display Car parking is available on the cliffs by the Sunset Surf beachside café and there are toilets available. The Sunset Surf beachside café and licensed bar is the ideal spot to sit and relax after a day on the beach or simply exploring the local sand dunes. The cafe is open all year round, serving high quality locally sourced, seasonal ingredients wherever possible.

Dogs are not allowed on Gwithian beach between Easter and October 1st but it is dog friendly between October and Easter when dogs are allowed.

This is an ideal holiday area for walking, touring Cornwall and surfing.
