St Mabyn is a rural North Cornwall Village that provides an ideal holiday base for families with young children, golfers, walkers, water sport enthusiasts and anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. If all you want to do is chill out, the village pub a a 17th Century inn, and well-stocked shop are just a couple of minutes walk down the road!
This is a stunning holiday location, adjacent to the beautiful Camel Valley Estuary and Bodmin Moor. This is a region of North Cornwall that is full of history with plenty of variety available for even the most demanding visitor. The beaches of the area are superb, providing high quality bathing and water sports. The region has many lively holiday resorts and there are many museums, galleries, specialist restaurants and craft shops, in and around the Camel Estuary, Rock, Polzeath and Padstow.
Wadebridge and Padstow are fantastic holiday locations - close to the Camel Trail; a disused railway which provides up to 17 miles of wonderful level cycling or walking. Cycles can be hired locally or you could bring your own. The ever popular Camel Trail cycle route is Cornwall's most popular free holiday attraction. The trail follows the 17 miles of disused railway track running from Bodmin Moor, down to Wadebridge and then it follows the edge of the Estuary to the Quayside at Padstow. The Camel trail is ideal for walking, jogging or cycling - providing a great family day at that takes you through some beautiful and relatively unknown coastal scenery and countryside. There are beside the River Camel.
