White Surf
Whitesurf is a recently restored charming 2 storey character cottage located in the heart of the old fisherman's' quarter in St Ives. A stones-throw from the beautiful Porthmeor, Porthgwidden and the harbour front beach, it is a perfect place for friends and family to come and relax. Close to all the amenities, restaurants, bar and galleries, Whitesurf really does lie in an ideal position.
ACCOMMODATION The converted cottage sits on the first and second floor above a pottery. It has been fully refurbished and retains many of the original features including exposed beams and 'the dead man's hatch'. The cottage has central heating throughout including heated towel rails. Both bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, whilst being light and airy. Adjoined to each are 2 en-suite bathrooms, with walk-in showers. Downstairs, the sitting room offers a 3 person leather sofa and chair, as well as a dining table for four people. For ease of storage, there is also a storage room by the front door to keep surfboards, wetsuits and baggage in. A central location perfect for exploring St Ives and the surrounding area, right next to the lovely beaches, shops, restaurants, art galleries and of course The Tate. There is a public car park 50 yards from the cottage where you may park - although a car is not necessary as St Ives has a main railway line and good public transport. |

White Waves
White Waves is a new conversion of a studio set within a thriving artists complex in the picturesque 'Downalong' conservation area of St Ives. 'Downalong' is a maze of picturesque winding lanes. Cornish granite and slate cottages abound and most roads lead to the crystal waters of our fine sandy beaches or to the harbour. Porthmeor beach is renown for great surf, whilst Porthgwidden is a more intimate beach were seals and dolphins are seen regularly by bathers. White Waves is close to both of these beaches and sleeps 2 people. Enter into the lounge/kitchen/diner which is furnished and equipped to a high standard. The sumptuously furnished bedroom has an ensuite wet room with shower. Whites Waves is well situated for all local attractions including the world famous St Ives Tate Gallery, which is only a short stroll away. It's a fantastic place to stay, situated right in the heart of St Ives with excellent access to all that this beautiful part of Cornwall has to offer.
