TWO beaches within the village

Welcombe surrounded by acres of Countryside with superb Sea and Countryside views over both Devon AND Cornwall!

The village of Welcombe has two beaches, AONB coast & countryside, deep lanes, historic buildings, village shop AND a gorgeous local thatched pub, The Old Smithy: 'family friendly' and with a reputation for fine wines, real ales and delicious food.

This is a wonderful location for family holidays and the many activities available locally. It is also a haven for walkers, with many coast, woodland or countryside walks to choose from.

Both beaches are close by, the larger has a car park. The scenically stunning South West Coastal Footpath is only 10 minutes easy walk from the house. The house and village sit within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and share a boundary with the renowned Marsland Valley Nature Reserve; a beautiful place to walk all through the year - connecting with Bird Sanctuary, SSI, N.T. land and both local beaches.

Sea View fully self contained holiday apartment sleeps up to four people very comfortably on the 1st floor and has a king size bed in the double room.

It is believed that 'Johnnie Walker' [actually William] of whisky fame, built the house in 1860.
