Nearby, at Bissoe, are bike hire facilities, which is on the Coast-to-Coast Cycle Trail, that runs along the scenic traffic free route from Portreath on the north coast to Devoran on the south coast. However if watersports are your thing then Stithians Lake, with angling and sailing etc., is less than 5 miles away and some of the best surfing conditions in the county can be found at Porthtowan, Chapel Porth or St Agnes, all approximately 15 minutes away.
