FALMOUTH
Falmouth is one of Britain's most southerly resorts
with a mild warm climate and a fine choice of sandy beaches.
Gyllyngvase beach, which has a European blue
flag for safety and cleanliness, is just two minutes walk from the
hotel.
Many of Falmouth's attractions
including The National Maritime Museum, The Princess Pavilion Theatre
and the wide variety of shops, galleries, restaurants, pubs and
bars are just a short stroll from the The Rosemary.
Falmouth has one of the
world's finest natural harbours, with many boat trips available.
There are regular passenger ferries to St Mawes, Flushing
and Truro as well as pleasure cruises around Falmouth Bay, the Helford
River and Carrick Roads.
Opportunities also exist for many water based sports
and activities, such as sailing, diving, fishing, wildlife watching
and even dolphin and whale spotting.
For the more energetic the SW Coast Path passes just
100m away and is one of the many beautiful walks in the area.
The town provides an excellent centre for touring
with the Roseland Peninsula, Helford River and Lizard nearby. Many
of Cornwall's other visitor highlights, such as the Eden Project
and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within a one hour drive.
