What better than to spend your time in the historic fishing village of Port Isaac in a 1720's old Sea Captains house filled with maritime history and stories of the past. We extend a warm and friendly welcome to guests from around the World throughout the year.

Relax in the book lined sun-room leading to the enclosed south-facing garden, where there is every opportunity to take quality time to enjoy this unique and beautiful part of Cornwall.

There are two pristine cottage double bedrooms available.

One as shown above has a large luxury en-suite bathroom/changing room with deep central free standing bath tub and separate shower combining all modern amenities and a view over the South facing garden and textured cottage roofs of this unique and beautiful Cornish village.

The second bedroom as shown below has a large bathroom en-suit/changing room with a window view across the harbour and is of the same standard. The bedroom window also has views out over Jessamine's enclosed South facing cottage garden and the village roof tops to the deep valley beyond.

All of the decor throughout the cottage is in keeping with the unique and friendly atmosphere and period of this historic building.

This enchanting house is available all year round allowing you to enjoy rustic winters here in Port Isaac. In the spring time Cornwall is known for being colourful with wild flowers blossoming throughout the countryside, the perfect time of year to appreciate the picturesque coastal walks available.

Port Isaac is also the setting to famous TV series Doc Martin and boasts the famous sea shanty group 'The Fisherman's Friends' who can be heard every Friday night (in season) singing in the harbour and the St. Breward Silver Band playing in the harbour on Thursday evenings.

Only a short distance from Port Isaac are attractions such as the beautiful stately home and gardens of Pencarrow House; Padstow; Rock; Boscastle; Tintagel with King Arthur's Castle and Polzeath offering surfing at all levels with RNLI lifeguards on duty, just 45 minutes drive away on the south coast the ancient harbour of Charlestown, home to square riggers and location for many film and TV dramas and an Internationally recognized Maritime Museum featuring the history of wrecks and diving in the West country; the beautiful port of Fowey in Daphne Du Maurrier country and of course the World famous Eden Project; just some of the attractions providing entertainment, history and culture for the whole family.

During the summer in Port Isaac it is possible to organise fishing trips, kayaking trips, surf lessons and adventure coastering with local professionals.

Port Isaac has a number of fine restaurants all offering locally caught fish and shell fish which is landed daily, there is also a take away and fish and chip shop.
