DISABLED AND WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY COTTAGE

Forda Stables is our only fully inspected and rated accommodation for guests with impaired mobility. The cottage is rated level M3 (assisted and independent) under the National Accessible Standards. The cottage is a rare combination of full accessibility together with a 5 Star quality rating. The Stables has two twins and one double bedroom (sleeping up to 6) and both bathrooms (one with a bath and one with a level entry shower) are to disabled standards. Reduced rates for low occupancy are available out of high season.

In addition, Forda Barn and lodges Beech and Ash have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms but there are steps into the buildings. For full details on all of the accommodation please visit the lodges and cottages pages of the website.
Our amenities have been designed with guests with impaired mobility in mind.

The Tennis Court, Games Room and Laundry Room have disabled access, as does the main Pool Building. This area also has a disabled toilet, changing room and shower and the Sauna has a disabled access door. The pool has easy access with steps and handrail. There is also disabled parking available by the Pool Building, Games Room, Laundry and Tennis.

A disabled friendly bridge links the accommodation areas with the parkland and fishing lakes across the river and wheelchair access to the fishing is possible when not too wet and muddy.

Some of our Spa Treatments are suitable and adaptable for those with mobility problems. Also, by prior arrangement, we can usually organise appointments with a mobile hairdresser and a visiting chiropodist.
