Self-catering holiday accommodation in
Eastcliffe is a traditional fisherman's cottage dating from 1750. In its original state it would have looked rather different from its present form- there would have been two small rooms downstairs divided by a passage which led from the front door to the staircase. Upstairs there were three small bedrooms and no bathroom!! The "facilities" were in the small slated shed outside on the patio.
Thankfully things have moved on and we now have a completely modernised cottage comprising two bedrooms and bath/shower room and downstairs a comfortable sitting room and fitted kitchen. There are all the usual modern appliances including dishwasher and microwave, colour TV, DVD, video, radio/CD/cassette player and upstairs a laundry area with washing machine and separate dryer. Outside at the back of the cottage there is parking space for two cars and a paved area which can be used for sitting out in the sun. There is also a patio at the front of the cottage which overlooks the harbour and is a real suntrap. Garden chairs and a table are provided and stored in the shed, which also houses the dustbins. Port Isaac has two pubs, shops and several cafes and restaurants, all of which are within a few minutes walking distance from Eastcliffe. The cottage overlooks the harbour, which is 2 mins. away. There is a local pottery near the harbour, 2 local artist's galleries and a Post Office which also sells souvenirs and clothes. Regretfully we do not take pets or smokers.
Things to do Port Isaac is situated on a beautiful unspoilt part of the North Cornish coastline and is on the coastal footpath.
There are many lovely walks which can be taken from here and a network of local footpaths giving a variety of routes.
