A warm welcome awaits you on this cornish dairy farm just a short two mile drive from Looe, off the B3253, down a quite country lane. The farm is family run with a herd of friesian dairy cattle which calve throughout the year. We have a passion for horses which can be seen in the fields or stable. We also have three very friendly playful dogs – one collie and two spaniels. Cleese Farm is a country farmhouse offering traditional farmhouse bed and breakfast, set in a delightful setting with picturesque views of the sea and wooded valleys. We are ideally located for exploring sandy beaches, the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro with their winding narrow streets, National Trust Properties, Eden and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. For walkers the coastal walks are spectacular and are within easy reach. The city of Plymouth and the Mayflower Steps are only half an hour away as is Bodmin Moor and the famous Jamaica Inn. Family holidays here at Cleese Farm are always close to a great day out. Children welcome and they may like to see the cows being milked or baby calves fed. Small well behaved dogs welcome (by prior arrangement). Large family room with a double bed and a single bed and ample room for a second single bed. This south facing room has beautiful views over rolling countryside down to the sea at Millendreath. Double bedroom with original pine fireplace and west facing casement window overlooking the garden and the picturesque wooded Morval valley. Both guest rooms have:
Our Georgian farmhouse boasts many period features creating a unique charm and atmosphere. We offer homely, comfortable and friendly bed and breakfast accomodation. The garden is a wonderful place to relax in the evening, from here the views of the sea and green valleys are breathtaking.
