The Bottreaux
- Restaurant with Rooms
Boscastle, North Cornwall
2 AA Rosette Restaurant,
with 8 en suite Bed & Breakfast Rooms
Our eight rooms benefit from views of the
surrounding countryside, some with distant sea view
This 200 year old building is located in the heart of the old village,
within 10 minutes walk from the Harbour & shops.
The guest bedrooms and lounge have been refurbished, bringing
the overall standard of the establishment to a higher level of comfort.
Some of the seven rooms have distant sea views of the rooftops of Boscastle.
The guest lounge offers deep leather sofas and chairs to relax in, as
well as a good selection of books and games to keep you occupied.

There is also a welcoming 16th century bar,
complete with slate floor and beamed ceiling, with contemporary furniture
to strike a perfect balance between old and new.
The Bottreaux observes a strictly non smoking policy in all areas.
RESTAURANT
Open to guests and non residents, The Bottreaux Restaurant offers an atmospheric
setting for romantic candlelit dinners. With it's beautiful wooden floor,
modern furniture, and colour scheme of white and pale green, the elegant
décor compliments our small, a la carte menu, with daily specials.
The Chef specialises in creating seafood dishes, using finest quality
ingredients, all sourced locally.
Restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays, except for breakfast, and
over Bank Holiday weekends.
ACCOMMODATION
All rooms are en-suite, and offer tea/coffee facilities, colour televisions
and direct dial telephone, and are decorated in a seaside theme, with
white linen and sea grass carpets. Solid teak furniture of exceptional
quality makes The Bottreaux a stylish and comfortable place to stay.
5 double rooms, 2 deluxe rooms and 1 twin room, most of which have 6 foot
wide Super King size beds, while the mattresses are the best available
on the market, to ensure our guests have a restful night's sleep. We also
have 1 twin bedded room available.
All the rooms are double glazed, to guarantee absolute quiet even in the
tranquil Boscastle nights, and each room has dimmed recessed spotlights
to make the atmosphere in the room just what it's occupants wish it to
be.
