Polzeath, located on on Cornwall's attractive northern coastline, is famous for it's magnificent beach.

Vast Atlantic rollers roll across the mouth of the Camel Estuary, creating a surfers paradise, whilst the large expanses of fine sand, makes Polzeath the ideal family beach. Polzeath is ideal for family holidays catering as it does for all tastes, surfing, beautiful sand and rock pools abound. The coastal path affords superb walking with breathtaking views.

There are ample places to visit from the famous Eden Project (30 minutes away) to the peace of St Enodoc Church at Daymer Bay. Now situated on the golf course it was for many years buried by the sand and is now the resting place of Sir John Betjeman.

Accommodation -

There is a comfortable three piece suit with a 3 seater settee, a television with Sky and DVD player along with a selection of board games to suit most ages.

The kitchen has a green slate floor and work surfaces and white fitted units.

There's loads of crockery and cutlery in the kitchen so you can take full advantage of the dishwasher. Along with a full size electric cooker there is also a microwave and of course a fridge. A washing machine and tumble drier are also available.

The main bedroom has a double bed and the other one has cabin type bunk beds, (the top one is 5' 10" long). All the beds have duvets. In the bathroom there is an electric shower, shaving point and heated towel rail.

Outside is a patio area with table and chairs, plus a lawned area with Summerhouse overlooking the sea, which is an ideal place to sit and watch the sun set over the ocean. There is also storage for wet suits, boards, beach equipment etc. There is off road parking for 1 car.

Tywardale is a non smoking establishment and we are sorry we cannot accommodate pets. We do not accept bookings from unaccompanied teenagers.

The cottage is at the top of a lane about 300 yards from the beach and shops and as the lane is a cul de sac there is minimal traffic and noise.

The village is well supplied with shops which include 2 mini markets a post office, newsagents and take away foods including scrummy ice creams. Local bus services run through the village.

Bookings run from Friday 2.00pm to Friday 10.00am and a 20% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance payable on arrival. If you like us and come back to us the following year, you will qualify for our returners discount of £25.00 per week for each full week booked.
