Tubbs Mill, a three hundred year old Mill House, is located in a secluded valley in one of the most picturesque areas of Cornwall. The Mill House has been tastefully restored in the period and is surrounded by a beautiful garden bordered by the River Luney and the old Mill leat.

We offer breakfast in the breakfast room or on our sun terrace ranging from continental to full English breakfast, tea and coffee are freely available throughout the day and we are happy to prepare a light supper. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants in the area and we will be pleased to-advise and book as required.

Tubbs Mill is situated approximately half way between St Austell and Truro and only five miles from Mevagissey with its good selection of restaurants. We are only one mile from the beautiful unspoilt beaches of Portholland and 2 miles from Caerhays Castle with its expansive gardens and stunning beach. The Roseland Peninsula, a designated area of outstanding beauty is on the doorstep and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are close by.

We are ideally situated for those who love walking being just inland from the South-West coastal path and we are surrounded by wonderful wildlife from badgers to buzzards and everything in between!

For the garden lovers amongst you, you will certainly enjoy the garden at Tubbs Mill which is set on several different levels between the old mill leat and mill stream. We are both garden lovers ourselves and propagate our own plants on the premises.

There is a sitting room and garden room for our guests and you can relax in our peaceful garden either on the sun terrace or on our swinging seat situated on a deck spanning the river.

Tariff 2009

Our rates are £50 to £55per person per night, which includes bed, breakfast and beverages. Light suppers are by arrangement.

We regret we are unable to accept dogs and we should be grateful if guests would refrain from smoking in the house, although there is a small enclosed porch area where smoking is permissible.

We should be very pleased to welcome you to our home where we are sure you will completely unwind in a unique setting well off the beaten-track.
