Quiet location on the edge of Port Isaac

Just a few minutes walk down to the harbour

Port Isaac features as "Port Wenn" in the current "Doc Martin" TV series.

This traditional family house is situated in Lundy Road, a quiet location on the edge of Port Isaac.

Overlooking Port Gaverne Bay, the house has superb views along the North Cornish coast to Tintagel and Hartland Point - on a clear day you can see Lundy Island (hence the name of the road).

It is a few minutes walk down to the harbour (several more coming back because of the hill!) with local shops, the Post Office, garage, restaurants and pubs within easy reach.

The beautiful walks along the cliffs are close at hand and a short car ride will take you to the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock. The house is comfortably furnished and equipped for up to 7 people, making it ideal for family holidays.

Ground Floor:

  • Lounge/Dining Room - Spectacular views of North Cornish coast. Amenities include open fire, flatscreen colour Freeview TV and DVD player.
  • Rear Sitting Room - Double bed settee
  • Kitchen - fully fitted kitchen, Electric cooker, washer/drier, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, small dining table and stools;
  • Cloakroom - Toilet and washbasin

First Floor:

  • Bedroom 1 - (front) Wash basin, double bed (4') with brass bedstead and view as from lounge/dining room;
  • Bedroom 2 - (front) Double bed (4') and view as from lounge/dining room;
  • Bedroom 3 - (rear) Twin beds (3') and wash basin and shower unit. (overlooks rear garden);
  • Bathroom - Bath, shower, wash basin, toilet and airing cupboard.

There are gardens at the front with panoramic views across the bay (outdoor table and chairs provided for visitors' use) and also at the rear, with parking for two cars.

There are night storage heaters in the hall, lounge, rear sitting room, kitchen and bedroom one, with electric heaters in the other two bedrooms. There is a wall heater in the bathroom and hot water is by an immersion heater. The house has fitted carpets throughout and and is fully furnished and double-glazed throughout.
