Tregarthen is ideally situated in New Polzeath, just a
short stroll to the splendid surf beach and village surf shops, food stores,
and cafes/restaurants. It is very adaptable, equally suitable for two
people or a family of six, and if more sleeping accommodation or flexibility
is required, the 'bunker' (an adjacent annexe in the rear garden), may
be rented with the bungalow.
It is well equipped with washing machine, tumble drier,
dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave and other usual
appliances. Electricity is included in the rent. There is a pay phone
which also receives incoming calls. All windows and doors are double glazed
and there are four night storage heaters.
As well as being famous for it's magnificent surfing beach,
Polzeath is also situated on outstandingly beautiful North Cornwall Coastal
path, with wonderful walks to Pentire Head and The Rumps, Rock, or Port
Isaac and beyond.
Nearby, local golf courses include the renowned St Enodoc's
at Daymer Bay, and there are numerous activities for the energetic, such
as fishing, sailing, wind surfing, kite surfing, water skiing, banana
boat riding, tennis, horse riding, and cycling along the Camel trail.
There are many local restaurants, bars, cafés and pubs, and for
serious "foodies", try Rick Steins in Padstow, or Jamie Oliver's
'Fifteen' at Watergate Bay.
This is a no-smoking property, and with regret, we do not
accept dogs. Duvets are provided, but tenants are asked to bring their
own towels and bed linen.
Changeover day is Friday, although we can be flexible
out of season. A deposit of 30% secures the let, the balance being payable
one month before arrival.
