Along-side our popular self-catering apartments (see below), we are now offering two luxurious suites within our lovely family home.

Both are spacious, with king or super-king size beds with 42" plasma tv's and mini fridge with mineral water and fresh milk, luxurious en-suite bathroom and amazing ocean views. One has private balcony.

Room only rates are available as well as bed and breakfast.

Whether you're preference is a light breakfast or a hearty feast to set you up for the day, breakfasts are tailored to suit your requests ? cereals, fresh fruit, toast etc. or a serious full English!

Located in the unspoilt bay of Mawgan Porth with its beautiful beach and stunning cliff walks. There are several choices of eateries within the local area with the ever popular Fifteen Cornwall and Stein's both just a just drive along the coast.

Newquay Cornwall Airport is conveniently located just 5 minutes away and offers and wide range of domestic flights which vary depending on the season, from such airports as Manchester, Birmingham, Gatwick, Bristol and Newcastle. It makes getting to Cornwall easier than ever!

Situated in the quiet, uncommercialized hamlet of Mawgan Porth, The Thorncliff Apartments, nestled high into the cliffs of Cornwall's rugged and spectacular landscape, boasts what are arguably the finest, uninterrupted ocean views in the county. Mawgan Porth itself is a small village located on the coast road, midway between Newquay and Padstow.

The Penthouse Apartment

The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 large doubles (one of which has en-suite), and a twin, and therefore can comfortably accommodate 6 adults. This apartment is not suitable for children under 12 yrs. There is a house bathroom, a fully equipped dining kitchen which has all the comforts of home to include washing machine, fridge freezer, full sized double oven, microwave etc., and finally a spacious lounge which has a 42" lcd tv and dvd player, 'mini stereo / cd player and patio doors which lead out onto a large roof terrace. The terrace has a dining table and chairs, panoramic ocean views and total privacy. The terrace is perfect for 'al fresco' dining, sunbathing or simply relaxing whilst watching the tide ebb and flow.

The Garden Apartment

This apartment is ideal for families with young children. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 twin all with en-suite shower rooms and 4th smaller bedroom with double sofa bed, thus it can accommodate 2 families. The lounge, with large screen LCD tv & dvd player, has patio doors into the garden, perfect for a bbq. It has fully fitted and equipped kitchen and benefits from having a separate dining room. All rooms with the exception of the kitchen and bunk room have superb ocean views. 'Adjacent to the garden is our children's play area which guests are welcome to use, with climbing frame, swings, slide etc. and 14 ft trampoline, ideal for tiring out active little ones!

The Deluxe Apartment

Located on the first floor, this 1 bedroom apartment sleeps 2. Comprising spacious bedroom with antique half-tester king-size bed, en-suite bathroom & sea-view. The lounge also has a wonderful seaview with French doors leading out on to a private balcony. Fully fitted kitchen / diner. This spacious apartment also links very well with the Penthouse for larger parties.

Prices range from £295 - £825 per week

Duvets and pillows are supplied but linen is not included as we find many guests prefer to bring their own, however linen hire is available at a cost of £10 per person per week. This includes duvet covers, fitted sheets, pillowcases, hand and bath towels, but does not include towels for beach use.
A deposit of £50.00 per week booked is required with the balance being due 6 weeks prior to the date of commencement – reminders for outstanding balances are not given and non-payment could therefore be treated as a cancellation.
