The Pilchard Fishery was an integral part of Cornish village life. Locally caught pilchards, landed in the harbour where brought to the factory for pressing and salting in barrels. The Old Pilchard Works has been tastefully restored as an en-suite B&B, with some of the original beams and features to keep the buildings links with its Victorian history.
