The Old Pilchard Works is ideally situated in the centre of the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole, just a few metres walk to the harbour, beach, pubs, restaurants, shops and galleries.
Set in an ideal location, just yards from Mousehole's famous and picturesque harbour, The Old Pilchard Works B&B offers the ideal chance to explore this stunning Cornish coastal village. The property has been lovingly restored from Mousehole's former pilchard processing factory.
The Pilchard Fishery was an integral part of Cornish village life. Locally caught pilchards, landed in the harbour where brought to the factory for pressing and salting in barrels. The property has been tastefully restored - leaving some of the original beams and features to keep the buildings links with its Victorian history.
Mousehole is well placed for exploring further afield in West Cornwall with its stunning coastal walks, many fantastic beaches, the unique Minack Theatre, St Ives and so much more.
