What's nearby?

The village has a mini-market, several surfs / clothes shops as well as a post office and a new interior design store. There are several cafes and pubs/restaurants in the local area offering a wide choice of dining from snacks and bar meals, to Indian, and to seafood and steaks.

Surfing, coasteering, and other water sports are well catered for, with equipment and lessons available most of the year round. We are very close to the coastal path, which runs all around the Cornish coastline and provides some stunning walks and spectacular scenery.

There are two golf courses nearby, St Enodoc - the resting place of Sir John Betjeman, and The Point at Polzeath. If the weather is inclement, the famous Eden Project is about 30 minutes away and there are several other attractions nearby.

The nearest large town is Wadebridge. Situated about 7 miles away, it hosts all the major banks, a large supermarket as well as a good range of other shops.
