Main House (Sleeps 8 - 9)

We have refurbished the main house which has 4 bedrooms and a study- sleeping capacity 8-9 people.

Upstairs there is a large fully fitted open plan kitchen-dining room and balcony to enjoy the views.

We have free wireless broadband and full sky programmes to watch on a plasma TV.

The Annex (Sleeps 4-5)

This comprises of a large kitchen / lounge with a conservatory. The kitchen is fully fitted out with hob, microwave , oven and fridge. The lounge has a TV plus freeview and sofas that convert into two double beds. Upstairs is a gallery bedroom with a double bed, overlooking the lounge. The bathroom is also upstairs with a bath and electric shower. Free wireless broadband is available.

What's nearby? -Surfs edge is situated about 300 yards from the beach at Polzeath, along a quiet cul-de-sac. The village has two mini-markets as well as a post office and is the nearest point for public transport.

Surfing and other water sports are well catered for, with equipment and lessons available most of the year round. We are very close to the coastal path, which runs all around the Cornish coastline and provides some spectacular scenery.

Also close by is Sir John Betjeman's favourite golf course at St Enodoc. If the weather is inclement, the famous Eden Project is about 30 minutes away and there are several other indoor attractions nearby.

Eating out - There are several cafes in the local area and pubs/restaurants for everything from snacks to sit-down meals. Or you might like to take the ferry from Rock to Padstow and enjoy a meal at Rick Stein's restaurant or bistro. (The Seafood Restaurant needs to be booked well in advance!).

The nearest large town (by Cornish standards) is Wadebridge. Situated about 7 miles away, it hosts all the major banks and reasonable shopping with a large supermarket (24 Hr Tesco) as well as a good range of other shops.

Payment - We require a 33% deposit to confirm booking and the balance one month before arrival. Please note, booking will only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit.
