St Michael's

St Michael's is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Penzance and St Ives. It occupies a commanding position overlooking Mounts Bay and the famous St Michael's Mount with wonderful sea views stretching from the Lizard to Mousehole. This granite farmhouse of considerable charm and character dating from the 1800's has been tastefully restored to give comfortable accommodation of high standard yet retaining many original features.

Set in large landscaped gardens St Michael's offers both a peaceful retreat and easy access to the delights of west Penwith.

A safe sandy beach is a 5 min drive away. There are three pubs and a shop within walking distance. Other attractions in the area include riding stables, golf, sailing, bird watching, cycle path, surfing and kite boarding, as well as numerous walks including the Iron Age sites of Chycauster and Trencrom.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms in the main house and ONE double in the adjoining annexe.

On the first floor of the main house there are 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin-bedded room. (Two of which have outstanding views of St Michael's Mount and the third having rural views to Trencrom). Also on this floor a family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

On the second floor the large studio room with Velux windows has fantastic views of both sea and countryside with 1 double, 1 single, 1 guest bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. On the ground floor the lovely lounge has beamed ceilings and a feature fireplace with a carved wooden overmantel, slate hearth, electric log-effect woodburner, TV and DVD.

The open-plan kitchen/diner has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The raised dining area takes advantage of the views. An adjoining utility room houses a washing machine, freezer, Belfast sink, shower room with WC and access to the garage.

The front of the property has a large Victorian style conservatory with seating and an enclosed garden with seating.

The Croft - Sleeps 2

The self-contained annexe of St Michael's has a galleried double bedroom with wonderful sea views, shower room with WC and lounge/kitchen/diner with cooker, microwave and fridge, TV and DVD. NSH and electric panel heaters throughout.

A large enclosed lawned garden with seating and BBQ. Your bed linen, towels and electric are included.
