The tiny hamlet of New Polzeath is located to the right of Polzeath's main beach. Set of the edge of the beach, at the start of Pentire Head, New Polzeath has stunning views over the bay Trevose head Lighthouse and down the Camel Estuary towards Padstow. Pentire Glaze Haven is a small local cove that can only be reached via the beach at fairly low tide, but there is a footpath at New Polzeath that accesses the beach when the tide is up. Polzeath is a small seaside town at the mouth of the Camel Estuary, best known for its huge sandy beach, which is very popular in summer with families. Polzeath Beach is one of Cornwall's top surfing beaches. From Seaweed, you can take a stroll across the beach, and buy freshly baked croissants and coffee. Polzeath has a good selection of shops, restaurants, cafe and Post Office, and, reputedly the best stocked Spar shop in the country.
