Further Information

For those who decide to spend the time to explore this beautiful region to the full there is plenty of accommodation along the way to suit most pockets, including camp sites, hostels, B & B , hotels and holiday cottages, all of which information will readily be proffered by the local people in each area. For those who are seeking evening entertainment a number of pubs stage regular live-band performances, including The Trewellard Arms Hotel, The Star at St Just, The Gurnard's Head, The Old Success at Sennen Cove and The First and Last, in total offering a varied selection of music from Rock and Blues to Cornish Folk. There are also many localised festivals to enjoy at various times of the year, particularly in St Just. Most of the Inns offer good food, often including locally caught fish dishes, and most will cater for vegetarians. Anybody wishing to use the area as a base will be within easily drivable distance either from St Ives or Penzance, or from renowned beauty spots such as Mousehole, Lamorna, Porthcurno and the Minack, and from all the fascination of a working fishing port that is offered by Newlyn.

This limited text has only scratched the surface of the amount to be seen and discovered on this exceptional stretch of coast.
