Truely lovely location for large family or friends get
togeather or party,Family holiday, winter getaways with dramatic seas
and a roaring log fire! Surfing or watersports break or even Stag or hen
doos with a difference. We can even cater for large groups of up to 29
with our 3 other properties on the farm!
The situation is wonderful only half a mile to Port
Quin, and a mile and a half to Port Isaac which is only a 20
minute walk, within a short walk is a good restaurant and bar.
For more extensive facilities Port Isaac has a daily fish
market, seafood restaurants, good traditional pubs and a co-operative
grocery store.
Anybody who has an interest in farm animals can help feed
the animals on the weekly farm tour. A truly lovely location for a family,
outdoor, surfing or beach holiday.
PORT QUIN & PORT ISAAC
We run Kayak trips and coasteering sessions from Port Quin
just down the hill if you are looking for some adventure.
The south west coast path runs through Port Quin so 10
mins walk from the house and you can be walking along our breathtaking
coastline in either direction. Port quin itself is a beautiful harbour
that is great for rock pooling and exploring caves at low tide or safe
swimming at high tide.
Port Isaac a 30 min walk over the inland footpath has
lots of shops, bars and restaurants also has a fish market and is now
well known for the film set of Doc Martin amongst other programs and films.
Lundy bay just at the tip of our farm is a great beach
at low tide where you can escape the crowds of other more popular spots.
Polzeath beach is North cornwalls surf city with board
rentals and surf lessons in abundance.
Trebarwith Strand 30 mins to the north is another great
beach but only there at low tide.
You also have Padstow, Rock, the camel trail cycle route
and heaps of other great attractions just a few miles away.
