A lovely 18th century farmhouse set in 75 acres of riverside farmland. Roskear Farm provides guests with an ideal opportunity to experience the peace and tranquillity of the Cornish countryside.

The house features oak beams, comfortable sofas, and real wood fires and has a warm and friendly atmosphere. There are stunning views across Roskear's open farmland down to the river Camel and beyond towards the rolling countryside of St. Minver.

Accommodation

Guests are welcome to enjoy Roskear Farmhouse as they would their own home. Breakfasts of locally produced produce is cooked on an Aga - served in an attractive dining room.

Out and About

Roskear is a superb base for exploring Cornwall. It is within easy reach of the North Cornish coastline - famed for its rugged cliffs, abundant wildlife and quiet coves.

The small fishing town of Padstow - home to the World famous 'Rick Stein's Sea Food Restaurant' is just a short drive away. From here you can relax on the sandy beaches, or take the passenger ferry across the estuary to Rock, St. Enodoc's Church and Daymer Bay.

Roskear is a central location, for those who wish to explore Cornwall premier resorts, such as Truro, St. Ives, Penzance and Falmouth or the North Coast of Devon and the rugged wilderness of Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. All of Cornwall's major attractions are within easy driving distance of the property.

Roskear gives you the choice - a quiet holiday exploring the remote coves and footpaths around the beautiful Camel estuary, rambling on Bodmin moor exploring some of the countries most pictoresque countryside or visiting the areas numerous National Trust Houses, Gardens and Heritage sites. Lanhydrock House (NT), near Bodmin is a magnificent period property set in beautiful grounds which are full of azalea and rhododendron blossom during the spring months.

Close by, you will find Cornwall"s Eden Project, tropical biomes set in a landscaped quarry. Both are within 35 minutes drive from the property and combine to make a memorable day out.
