Ropers Walk Barns are situated within a small working farm, located on the fringe of the friendly village of Mount Hawke. Only 8 miles from the cathedral city of Truro and just a few minutes drive to the coast you will find us in a central position for accessing the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Within walking distance you will find a well stocked village stores including post office, gastro pub, doctor's surgery, churches and a regular 'bus service.

The barns have been converted to a high standard and include the very latest under floor heating system and double glazing ensuring our guests experience a warm and comfortable stay. Heating, bed linen, duvets and towels are all included in the tariff. Cots and highchairs may be provided if requested at the time of booking. Outside the property you will find car parking and picturesque areas for eating and relaxing.

The Byre

The Byre (sleeping 2 to 4 people) has two spacious and fully furnished bedrooms, each offering a choice of a large double bed or twin beds. One room has an ensuite shower room and there is a further separate bathroom with shower over the bath. A sofa bed in the lounge provides sleeping accommodation for a further two people if required.

The living room is open plan comprising kitchen, dining and seating areas. The modern kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, electric hob, electric oven, combination microwave oven with grill and a fridge freezer. Laundry facilities including a washing machine and tumble dryer are also available. From the living area, French doors open out onto the beautiful country views.

The Corn Store

The Corn Store (sleeping 4 to 6 people) is a traditional two storey barn with 'upside down' accommodation and includes a through floor wheelchair lift to ensure full accessibility to our less able and wheelchair using guests.

On the ground floor is a double/twin bedroom with en suite wet room and a second wet room with toilet, basin and shower. The first floor has an open living area with kitchen, dining and lounge area offering amazing views across countryside. A sofa bed is included for additional guests.

Since opening The Corn Store we have offered short breaks in this second barn throughout the year (minimum 3 nights) which are proving to be very
popular.
