Coombe - Truro - Cornwall

River View sleeps 6 people

1, River View is the end house of a row of four, in the little hamlet of Coombe. Coombe is situated on the gentle slopes above Cowlands Creek on the Truro River. From the lounge window you can see the waters of the creek and hear the Curlews call.

Coombe is ideally situated for local walks in beautiful countryside. A network of footpaths are accessible from the front door. We provide maps of mid and west Cornwall.

It is four miles from Truro and eight miles from Falmouth. All the North and South coast beaches are within easy travelling distance. The Eden Project is around 45 minutes drive away.

For food shopping there is a Spar shop and Post Office at Playing Place, two miles away. Sainsburys and Tesco are in Truro.

ACCOMMODATION

The house has three bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom/toilet with an electric shower over the bath.

The two main bedrooms are of a good size. One has a double bed, the other has two single beds. The smaller bedroom has bunk beds.

Downstairs there is a large lounge/dining room that spans the width of the house. The dining table has room for six. There is a colour TV and CD player in the lounge.

There is a Parkray solid fuel burner which heats the lounge and provides hot water. An electric immersion heater provides hot water when the Parkray is not in use.

There are nightstore heaters in the lounge and two main bedrooms.

The compact kitchen has a fridge, washing machine, microwave and electric cooker.

The front garden is reasonably sized and is mainly grass.
