Portholland has been
declared an area of 'Natural Outstanding Beauty' and a 'National
Heritage Asset'
Sitting on top of a sandy beach with
long reaching coastal views. Once used as a hay-straw loft, with
milking parlour below, has now been converted into a beautiful
fully furnished holiday cottage, with views across the pond with
its many types of wild life. Many walks along the coast or inland.
In winter the coast line is majestic
and awesome with crashing seas. The Roseland Peninsula is the
ideal base for those who want to get off the beaten track.
Looking along the coast you will see
the St Mawes and Falmouth Bay. Turn and the hazardous Dodman Point
stands before you, where in long gone years many a sailing ship
has floundered and beyond nestles Gorran Haven and Mevagissey.
ACCOMMODATION
3 Bedrooms sleeps five people.
Ground Floor: Two bedrooms - One double
bedroom with basin, one twin.
Steepish stairs to open plan lounge/dining
and kitchen area with a stable door to the veranda with sea views/pond.
One single bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and
basin. Large wardrobes in all bedrooms.

Quality Bed Linen, (duvets) and 100% Egyptian Cotton towels included.
Parking for Two cars. Cot/High chair, stair gates, Sky TV, DVD,
stereo/CD, fridge, separate small freezer, D/washer, microwave,
washing machine, Use of dryer if required. Garden with furniture
and BBQ.
THE LOCAL AREA
A small unchanged coastal village
in the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. Mevagissey, Gorran Haven,
Portloe, Veryan, Portscathoe, St Mawes and also the beautiful
Cathedral City of Truro are within easy reach.
The pubs and restaurants are a few
minutes drive away and the much talked about Eden Project, Lost
Gardens Of Heligan are twenty minutes drive away.
