Polmark House is situated just a two minute walk from beautiful Harlyn Bay. It makes an ideal base for families and friends who want a great location for a relaxing beach holiday.

For those wanting a more active holiday the surrounding area also offers some great walks, cycling along the nearby Camel Trail, surfing, horse riding and golf. The 9 cottages at Polmark House are in a courtyard setting.

Facilities on site include a sun terrace, barbecue area and plenty of parking.

Each cottage is centrally heated and furnished to a high standard. Kitchen appliances include washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, ceramic hob and fridge freezer. Utensils, crockery and glasses are provided as are all towels and bed linen. The lounges have digital television and wi-fi connection.

Things to do

Polmark House is situated in a great location, close to the beach in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are several good golf courses nearby and the Camel Trail (popular with cyclists and walkers) starts in nearby Padstow which is well known as a picturesque and bustling fishing village. Harlyn also has its own surf school which offers lessons for abilities.

Around and About

The nearest village to Harlyn is St Merryn which is couple of minutes drive away and offers a good selection of pubs, restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores. Just a little further along the coast, Padstow has a wider range of pubs, restaurants and shops. Attractions such as the Eden Project and the Cathedral City of Truro are approximately a 40 minute drive while St Ives can be reached within about an hour.

There are several National Trust Properties nearby including Trerice Manor, Bedruthan Steps and Lanhydrock House.

Newquay Airport is 20 minutes away and offers regular flights to various Uk airports for anyone not wishing to bring their car.
