![]() WALKING: Plenty of interesting walks may be made in the area. According to guest's requirements, these may be short or long distance and incorporating hills as desired. Walks are constructed with individual guests to suit their specific requirements. CYCLING: Enthusiastic cyclists are welcome to bring their own cycles. Plenty of routes are available and these are planned according to guests individual requirements. FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN: Being a busy working farm, we obviously require parents to supervise their children. However, the large garden provides ample space for youngsters to play in. A host of sporting equipment is available for guests use, although children usually dispose of their excess energy through walking around and enjoying the lakes, feeding the ducks and fish, searching for frogs or looking for the many other wildlife attractions which can be found. Our location just inside the Cornish border is ideal for that off-season getaway break, four hours by road from London and the Midlands, only two hours from Bristol means you can be enjoying a relaxing break in no time at all. The mild Cornish climate in the early and later parts of the year attract migrating birds to our estuaries, the wild flowers are in abundance along the lanes and hedgerows. The roads are relatively quiet when the children are back at school making access to Cornwall many attractions a pleasure. |
