Pentrew stands in a secluded garden beside a no-through road
which leads down to the coastal path. There are uninterrupted
sea views from all windows across to the sea. The Scilly Isles
are visible on a clear day.
Pentrew is a traditionally built granite cottage and
is reputed to have been the home of the manager of the old Levant
Mine - apparently, what is now the log store used to be the dynamite
store!
The area is designated one of outstanding natural
beauty, of great historic value, of great scientific
value and is part of the Heritage Coastline.
The cottage is furnished with country-style period
furniture, is comfortable and warm and appointed to a high standard.

For the more energetic, there are nearly 30 miles
of coastal footpath between Trewellard and Penzance and 12 miles
between Trewellard and St Ives.
