The Old Stable stands overlooking our garden, just inland from Bude, in the friendly village of Marhamchurch. There is a pub serving good food.

Renovated to a very high standard it provides a comfortable and relaxing retreat whilst retaining its original character. For the winter months there is a wood burning stove plus background heating to make it a cosy destination all year.

The stable door opens onto the kitchen diner with a solid oak table and chairs and kitchen units. An open wooden screen gives a view through to the comfortable living room which has a colour TV and DVD player. A glazed door leads on to your own private walled courtyard style patio area. We have a superb barbecue which you are welcome to use. The old tack room has been converted into a small utility room with a washer dryer and a bathroom with a heated towel rail.

From the living room a staircase leads up to a small landing with two bedrooms leading off. The double room has an en suite shower room, again with a heated towel rail. The twin room has beds which can be joined together to provide a king size double bed if required. Both bedrooms have beamed ceilings and are provided with duvets and bed linen.

The Old Stable has a wood burning stove for which logs will be provided.

The Hayloft has been converted from traditional stone farm buildings with a spectacular view over farmland down to the sea. Situated in the quiet hamlet of Rosecare above Crackington Haven, there are pubs close by and a shop within 1 mile at Wainhouse Corner. At the top of the old slate steps there is a small sitting out area for your own use overlooking the shared courtyard.

The large airy living room with exposed beams has a colour TV and DVD player. It also has a full sized double sofabed.
The dining area is by the window so that you can enjoy the view down to the coast.
The galley style kitchen has now been completely refurbished with new units, solid oak work tops and a built in fan oven with separate hob and extract hood over, a microwave and a fridge.
The main bedroom has a double bed and the smaller bedroom has 2' 6" bunkbeds. Both rooms have built in wardrobes.
The large bathroom has been redesigned with a new shower over the bath with a smart new shower screen and heated towel rail and painted boarding to the lower walls. The small washing machine is now situated in the airing cupboard.
Both bedrooms are provided with duvets and linen. The sofabed is provided to give greater flexibility. We do not intend more than 4/5 to be accommodated. Bed linen for the sofa bed will be supplied if required.
