Moor Magy is situated at the end of a private lane and consists of Moor Magy House and Stable Cottage. This old Cornish property was once a farm labourers cottage and has been carefully renovated and extended retaining many original features. Emphasis has been placed on creating a welcoming and comfortable environment with a unique character.
Situation
Moor Magy is an ideal centre for visiting the attractions of West Penwith. Carn Euny, showing the remains of a 2000 year old Iron Age settlement is a short walk away - there are other standing stones and stone circles within walking distance and there is a choice of excellent beaches within 5 miles.
The Minack open air Theatre at Porthcurno, the fishing harbour at Newlyn and Lands End are just a few of the nearby places well worth visiting. There is a good pub which serves food a 3 mile drive along quiet country lanes. Pony trekking, fishing trips and surfing are all available locally.
There are some lovely walks directly from the property and many more within easy reach.
Animals! Two horses, three cats and a friendly dog live at Moor Magy. Pets are very welcome but must be well behaved around horses and neighbouring farm animals.
Both properties have central heating, bed linen and electricity included in the weekly tariff so there are no hidden extras! There are extensive views over open countryside and a large adjacent field where children (and dogs!) are usually welcome to play but please check with owner first. There is also an area of semi wild woodland belonging to the property but as there is an unfenced pond toddlers and very young children should be accompanied when exploring! Advance grocery orders can usually be arranged as can short breaks and flexible dates out of peak season.
