The popular village of Port Isaac is one of the most attractive little fishing villages on the Cornwall coast. The village is "tucked away" in a small cove that provide shelter for the fishing boats in the harbour. The steep sided valley has tiny "traditional" Fisherman's houses that line the narrow streets and alleyways that creep up the cliffs. Port Isaac, has several restaurants and little shops.
Port Isaac's narrow streets naturally mean that parking in Port Isaac is impossible and it is wonderful therefore that Mill Barn has its own private parking and is a short minute walk down a green track from the centre of the village, which cannot be seen from the house.
