Holidays in St. Tudy - birthplace of Captain Bligh

Port isaac in North cornwall

Holidays near the picturesque and friendly village of St. Tudy - birthplace of Captain Bligh of the 'Bounty'.

The village of St. Tudy offers a pub serving good value food and real ales, a community Post Office and shop selling most provisions, a 300 year old church and children's' playing field and a garden centre. It lies between the towns of Wadebridge, Bodmin and Camelford and is an excellent base for exploring the whole of Cornwall and Dartmoor.

The Eden Project and Padstow are both only half an hours' drive away.

Travelling to St. Tudy by road is just little over 4 hours from London and the Midlands and in the off season periods when the children are at school access around the county is much easier.
