Lestowder Farm Cottages nestle in
a valley bottom in a very quiet spot, an unspoilt part of Cornwall,
approximately 5 mins walk to a quiet beach which is safe for swimming
and rock pooling.
They overlook a large garden with a lake which is stocked
with carp - guests are welcome to fish.
We are approximately 2 miles from St Anthony
where boats can be hired.
The Properties
LESTOWDER COTTAGE
The cottage has its own garden with a barbecue and patio
area with furniture.
Lestowder Cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 8. The
master bedroom has a four poster bed with en-suite shower room. The second
bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds. The third bedroom has twin beds.
Downstairs there is a family bathroom with bath and shower over, wash
hand basin and WC. The lounge has a Faux leather reclining three piece
suite, a 32" LCD TV, and a gas fire. One small dog by arrangement.
TEUDAR PINE LODGE
The Lodge is on a secluded site, the french doors open
onto decking with patio furniture and barbecue overlooking farmland.
The Lodge has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5. The master
bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower room. The second bedroom
has a single bed and the third bedroom has a single bed and a cabin bed.
There is a family bathroom with bath, wash-basin and WC.
LESTOWDER FARMHOUSE
The Farmhouse is a self contained unit of the farmhouse.
The Farmhouse has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. The master
bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has twin beds. The family
bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash basin and WC. Downstairs there
is a lounge, a kitchen / diner and a conservatory.
There is a games room with pool table and
table tennis table available to all properties.
Car parking is available beside each property
and public transport is approximately 1 mile away.
The Location
Lestowder Farm Cottages are near the
Helford River and (Daphne du Maurier's) Frenchman's Creek,
and 12 miles from Helston - the town of the 'Flora' Dance.
St. Keverne is approximately 3 miles with a small
general stores, newsagents, butchers, post office, pubs and restaurants,
one of which is Roskilly's Croust House. Roskilly's is also famous for
its wide variety of ice cream, jams and chutneys.
For those interested in walking and bird watching the coastal
footpath will take you to the fishing village of Porthallow and
beyond and to Gillan and St. Anthony where locals and visitors
enjoy a wide range of sailing activities. Boats can be hired from 'Sailaway'
at St. Anthony.
Lestowder is approximately 5 minutes walk to a quiet
beach.
